SpinelizardThorny Devil
One of Australia's strangest reptiles, its body covered with long spines, and a large hump (nobody knows why it's there) on the back of its neck, the Thorny or Mountain Devil is an inhabitant of the inland and desert parts of Australia. Unlike most other members of the dragon family, this creature is very slow moving, and spends much time beside ant trails, flicking the ants one at a time into its mouth.
